Modern worship and high energy concert experiences, is what ToDieFor is all about. The Band has started to get a solid following, driven by their ability to lead people in worship. As a five piece power house, the band brings a very diverse set of musical influences to the table. The end result has been a very fresh and unique sound that is attracting industry attention.
2011 saw the band earn its first covenant award nomination for “Rock Song of the Year”, for their song “Maybe Today”. The momentum and industry support helped the band get back into the studio quickly and release a 3 track radio EP that hits the street in February 2012. They are also hard at work writing and continuing to work towards a full length album which is set to launch later in the year.
The band has played a huge part in the launching of a new Church campus called “NEXT”. As host band they have been inspired in their writing and have led a very progressive and modern worship experience. The new campus is aimed at the artist community and is building up to be the HUB of Christian music in Western Canada. As partners with GMA Canada, the church has some great events in store for the coming year.
The ToDieFor band has a passion to serve and sees their music as a platform to be a witness. They were recently signed by Compassion Canada under their artist program to help kids in poverty situations. Through this partnership they will look to be a voice for the millions of children that live in poverty today.
The band is made up of five members and fronted by Ian Aman. Ian has a long history in the Canadian music scene and under a solo project in 2003 charted nationally at radio.
The members are:
Ian Aman -Lead Vocals/Guitar
Robbie Dewitt – Lead Guitar.
